Homesick Astronautz, an optimistic combination of young men from Jackson, Mississippi. A group of talented young men trying to make their mark in the Afro-beat / Funk / Rap scene have some of the sickest and most original beats to date, and to quote their song, "Easy"--they can make a song "in about five minutes."

Picture this: my sun-kissed skin, white mini-skirt, sky-high jimmy choo's, body-huggin' shirt, hair in a sleek bun, taking off my trench coat.

I casually walk into a small coffee shop in New York City.

I order a latte, and take a seat on a cozy couch by the front window. I'm sitting directly across the room from a very stunning man. A powerful one at that. He pulls his reading glasses down, gives me the eye, and can't help but bite his lips.

I've got him right where I want him. I give him a little smile, gently touch my thighs, and slowly pull my skirt up, just enough to keep his attention, my right hand touching my right thy getting his undivided attention, meanwhile my left hand is reaching up my left thigh as I gently grab a .45 Automatic Colt Pistol out of it's holster, mere seconds run by as I pull the pistol up... aim... fire.

Mr. powerful shot in the heart. DEAD.

I quickly, but casually get up, grab my latte, put on my trench coat, and vanish out that cozy little coffee shop door. A grin on my face, a warm coffee in hand, struttin' my shit...Never to be seen again.

He takes one good glance into my eyes, he sees no fear in these big brown eyes. They light up like the sun. Nerves and his own fear get the best of him. He slowly turns around and begins to walk away...

I grab him, turn him around, push him up against the wall, all eyes on us, and I whisper in his ear, "Don't go baby. Stay. Enjoy the show."

These dainty hands run up his neck and through his hair. His heart's racing, time stops, for just a moment everyone disappears, his eyes set on me...

And just before these crimson lips grace his...I vanish into thin air.

They have me trapped. I'm surrounded and there's no way out. The voices of the world, whisper in my ear, "Give in."

I refuse to give in...if this is where it ends, so be it. Their eyes are glued to me as if they taste the end. They crave the end.

Their voices keep whispering, "give in," as they slowly take hold of my face and run their fingers down my neck, anticipating the moment I give them what they're waiting for.

I take a deep breath and I softly and confidently say, "never."
I close my eyes as I feel each of their souls closing in to mine.
Their cold fingers strangle me, I slowly start to drift into a deep sleep.

They all begin to whisper, "she's giving in."
They're grinning because they've won.

I was the last of this world to keep from giving in.

My body begins to relax and I feel as if I'm floating.
I'm as calm as can be, and their souls begin to feed.

One grabs my chin and whispers, "open your eyes."
I listen and do so. He's staring deep into my soul.
He whispers, "I want to watch you drift away."

I smile, and softly say, "And I want to watch you get your head blown the fuck off."
In this moment hundreds of S.W.A.T. men surround these worldly creatures, and one by one heads go flying.

Blood splashes to every corner of the room.
He looks into my eyes with disbelief that I wasn't alone...
And slowly, but surely he drifts away.

I lie there on the floor as each creature is obliterated.
I look up, and one of the S.W.A.T. men is standing over me.

He softly touches my face, and says, "It's over now. We've won."
I open my eyes and all I can see is this beautiful light
And this man standing over me.

He spreads his wings and with a blink of an eye he flies away.

These angels...my angel, he was my way out.

And I would have stayed up with you all night, had I known how to save a life.

It is me, a dark room, and a window.

I'm trapped alone inside this caliginous room. There's one window. Just one. It's too small to escape through, but just big enough to torture my mind, body, and soul.

The mornings are like beautiful melodies from heaven because when the sun first rises I see a glimpse of hope that one day I'll escape this room. And the warmth from the sun kisses my skin and heals my wounds making this seclusion from the world just bearable enough.

The nights are like the saddest of cries from hells welcoming gates. The sun begins to set and all I see is another endless night, alone, and without hope. The cold bites at every inch of my being, ready for the haunting that undoubtedly awaits me.

I've tried fitting through that window only to find myself slicing what's left of my wings, breaking ribs, and bruising my hips. No matter how hard I try to pull through that window I still somehow cannot break through. Pieces of glass surely live inside me, as I've found it hard to pull the smallest of pieces from my skin.

The day is my hope of getting out of this place. And the night is my prison telling me I'll never escape. No matter how hard those nights are and how painful pushing my fragile body through that damned window, the days keep me sane and I see the light...Someday, somehow, they'll find me, the angels that is, and they'll take that whole fucking wall down, and then, and only then, will I...be...free.

As I sat in my bed, sad and alone. Tears came streaming down my face, as I realized the life I wanted and needed, slowly slipping away. I heard a helicopter and in that brief moment I thought to myself, is it you? Are you really here to save me? To take me away from this place?

As the moment ended, and the beautiful sound of metal flying through the air drifted away, the tears came faster--and all my heart longed for--slipped away.

As I flip through the pages of magazines (e.g. W) I feel this fire inside of me and I reminisce on all the years I've looked in those high fashion magazines and I realize this fire inside of me is the passion to be an international supermodel. I can thoroughly and clearly picture my face, my body, my heart, and my soul on those spreads in W, posing and sharing a talent waiting to unleash itself in photographs.

The only problem is I've no idea where to start or who to contact. If only there was someone out there in this big world-and the world where the modeling dream is possible-that would believe in me as I believe so much in myself and my ability to move others through modeling and helping produce beautiful and encouraging photographs...

Dear God,

It seems like everyone & everything around me are falling & Lord God it breaks my heart to see this going on. I know the world is full of problems & many people that are facing difficult & unimaginable trials in life, but God, I need your help. I need you to listen to my heart & see what's in my soul; I need you to see all the people I love & cherish that are in my heart & in my mind. God would you please go to each one of those people & bless them in a very special way? Can you please comfort them, keep them healthy, guide them in the right direction, give them hope & help them not to feel so alone in this world. Lord God you are amazing & I'm so thankful that you, above all, love us unconditionally & you're always there God when we need to talk, you're there even when we feel so alone. I just ask that all the people on my long list be reached by you today & everyday God that you just give them strength to get through these trials & keep them fighting & continue to help them build their strength God. These people on my long list are people I love & I just yearn that they be relieved of all the stresses of the world & that they are at peace with themselves & can find something good in everyday. Thank you God & please don't forget me on that long list...
