I look up and I see a dark sky full of clouds, recreating images from the past, present, and future...

Atomic bomb explosions...The world trade centers in flames...War and so much death...Countries destroyed by natural disasters...The ruler of all the universe descending from the sky...

Could this be it?

Could this really be the

YELE HAITI :. ♥s 4 Haiti :.

Re-posted from Yele.org on Haiti Crisis. Statement by Wyclef Jean.

“My commitment to Haiti is a unique and everlasting bond."

“I formalized that commitment when I formed my first foundation, in 1994. From that day forward, I have spent tireless hours working on behalf of my homeland on development issues as well as human and immigrant rights.

“I have been committed to helping the people of Haiti throughout my life, and that commitment will continue until the day I die.

“It is impossible for me to even comprehend the recent attacks on my character and the integrity of my foundation, Yele Haiti. The fact that these attacks come as we are mobilized to meet the greatest human tragedy in the history of Haiti only serves to perplex me even further.

“I first learned of these baseless attacks when I left Haiti late Friday, where I had been since 12 hours after the earthquake.

“Let me be clear: I denounce any allegation that I have ever profited personally through my work with Yele Haiti. These baseless attacks are simply not true.

“In fact, I have, time and again, committed significant amounts of my own money to support the work of Yele Haiti and other organizations in support of our efforts over the years.

“More than that, I have spent countless hours, days, months and years of my life committed to the country of Haiti, the people of Haiti and the success of Haiti.

“These baseless allegations were first put forward by a fringe website with a history of pursuing sensationalist story lines. The mainstream media’s pursuit of them has required Yele to divert precious resources during this critical time in order to answer various inquiries. That must end.

“I will continue to commit my focus to what is most important right now: Haiti. Right now, Yele is working with its valuable NGO partners, the U.S. Government, the United Nations and so many others to save lives, honor those who have perished and get aid to the millions of Haitians suffering through the worst human catastrophe of our times.

“I will never give up on my commitment."

Something infinitely interesting.

Vingt-dix.

1. GOD's beautiful and powerful grace he's set upon me.

2. Hot bubble baths using my long time companion-Philosophy Amazing Grace formula.

3. Sitting in my chair in a towel and having "me" time. (a concept I'm learning to embrace)

4. GLAMOUR Magazine. (along with the other dozens of magazines)

5. Getting into old boxes of previous years collections.

6. New pen pals from around the globe.

7. Unleashing more of my artistic side in as many art forms as possible.

8. Listening to old mix CD's.

I thought this would be a fun thing to share, and maybe it'll inspire something for you or heck even inspire you to make your own list of newest obsessions!

I miss being a tiny little thing, running far from home, and hiding in my cherry tree, eating cherries, looking up at the clouds, and dreaming up a life only God and I could see.

Happy 40th birthday Daddy...I miss you.

I wish I could tell you I love you right now.

Helicopters hover over this cold and lonely building.

I'm inside...Slowly fading away...

Tropical music is playing in the background.

The floor beneath me starts to shake.

The music gets louder.
The helicopters get closer.

THE EARTH IS SHAKING.

The bomb is about to drop...

...Oh and you wouldn't believe

what
happens
next...

Pure. Sweet. EXPLOSION!

The heat burns every microscopic piece of my skin...
My bones turn to ash...
My soul screams and blows to kingdom come.

I'm hovering over what use to be a building
and what use to be Earth.

It never felt
so good
to be

gone

If my life were to be described by a road trip it'd go a little something like this: me, my car, and the open road...I'd have and would be taking the road less traveled...I'd be just about out of gas in a city I've never been in, but somehow ended up in...Confused...Not knowing what to expect or where to turn...And did I mention I'd be completely and desperately lost?

Say hello to Jackson, Mississippi's Homesick Astronautz.

I have been inspired to do a review that does not do these young men justice, but given they are my biggest fans, this was the least I could do.

Homesick Astronautz
, an optimistic combination of young men from Jackson, Mississippi. A group of talented young men trying to make their mark in the Afro-beat / Funk / Rap scene have some of the sickest and most original beats to date, and to quote their song, "Easy"--they can make a song "in about five minutes."

Their raw-talent and incredible dedication to their dreams and their fans has proven to be the solid foundation that will cause Homesick Astronautz to live up to what they hope their music "sounds like nothing else you've heard round here."

This may be the first time you've ever heard of this remarkable unification, but I promise you, it won't be your last.

Tell stories with the boys. Hold one another. Take snapshots. Make memories. Sweet memories. Long live memories.

ASSASiN. Deadliest...catch me if you can.

Picture this: my sun-kissed skin, white mini-skirt, sky-high jimmy choo's, body-huggin' shirt, hair in a sleek bun, taking off my trench coat.

I casually walk into a small coffee shop in New York City.

I order a latte, and take a seat on a cozy couch by the front window. I'm sitting directly across the room from a very stunning man. A powerful one at that. He pulls his reading glasses down, gives me the eye, and can't help but bite his lips.

I've got him right where I want him. I give him a little smile, gently touch my thighs, and slowly pull my skirt up, just enough to keep his attention, my right hand touching my right thy getting his undivided attention, meanwhile my left hand is reaching up my left thigh as I gently grab a .45 Automatic Colt Pistol out of it's holster, mere seconds run by as I pull the pistol up... aim... fire.

Mr. powerful shot in the heart. DEAD.

I quickly, but casually get up, grab my latte, put on my trench coat, and vanish out that cozy little coffee shop door. A grin on my face, a warm coffee in hand, struttin' my shit...Never to be seen again.
